Condumex Technical Center (CTC, Centro Tecnico Condumex), is an example of the commitment to innovation and service of Grupo Condumex, as this center is connected in real time to design centers of our clients, car manufacturers, in the five continents. Thus, the Center is able to support operations of automotive part manufacturing companies of Grupo Condumex, through development of software, components, harnesses, electronics, and adequate tools, logistics systems and quality control.

 

The center includes the following areas:

 

Product Engineering and Development: design of power distribution and signaling systems for the automotive industry (harnesses). The center has resident engineers in the facilities of clients in Mexico, the United States and Europe, application engineers, CAD drawing personnel, and lab personnel.

 

Component design: design of mechanical components and tools for production (models or dies). They have the most powerful and latest CAD systems in the market, linked in real time to clients.

 

Software and Electronics: development of electronic systems, emphasizing on software. They follow SEI (Software Engineering Institute) technology. Most of their projects are international, and they perform simultaneous engineering with technological centers in the United States of America, South America, Europe and Japan.

 

Manufacturing Processes and Logistics: design and implementation of industrial processes. Their scope covers selection of machinery and equipment, capacity analysis, plant design and layout, process flows, method development, operator training, process implementation, production line balance, material handling equipment design, and just-in-time systems for sequential delivery at the point of use.

 

Tooling Center: design and manufacturing of error-proof (poka yoke) systems for assembly and verification of electrical harnesses and other products. They provide post-sale service to clients, such as equipment installation, user training, parts supply, maintenance and update.
