We began operations in 1954 and, currently, we have four plants:

 

§         Power Plant. Began operations in 1954. Operations in this plant include design and manufacture of aluminum and copper electrical cables used for electric power generation, transmission and distribution for high, medium and low voltage, in alternate or direct current, for the mining industry or domestic use. In addition, operations include design and manufacture of control cables used for operation and protection of process equipment and control.

 

Currently, this plan employs over 340 people, and it is located in Poniente 140 No. 720, Col. Industrial Vallejo, Mexico D.F., C.P. 02300.

 

§         Magnet Plant. Began operations in 1956. This plant manufactures copper and aluminum magnet wire, in round, square and rectangular shapes, and bare, enameled and jacketed. Also, this plant manufactures a wide range of gauges, constructions and thermal classes.

 

Currently, this plant employs around 25 non-unionized employees and over 140 unionized employees, and it is located in Poniente 140 No. 720, Col. Industrial Vallejo, Mexico D. F., C.P. 02300.

 

§         Conducon Plant. Began operations in 1971. This plant manufactures PVC sheathed copper cables for low voltage, and flexible PVC compounds, as well as PVC for self consumption and for use by other Group plants (Nacel, S.L.P. and Vallejo).

 

Currently, this plant employs over 60 non-unionized employees and around 150 unionized employees, and it is located in Calle 7 No. 872, Zona Industrial, Guadalajara, Jal., C.P. 44940.

 

§         Condutel Plant. Began operations in 1977. This plant manufactures telecommunication cables, in addition to being the only fiber cables manufacturer in the country.

 

Currently, this plant employs around 520 employees and it is located in Km 5, Carretera San Juan del Rio, Queretaro, C.P. 76800.
